Bioaqualife Biodegradable bioWrap® — 7.3m x 68m, 190 Micron

The bioWrap® 190 micron (7.5 mil) is Bioaqualife's standard workhorse film — the right choice for the majority of scaffolding, marine, and construction shrink wrap applications. At 7.3m wide and 68m per roll, it's a practical size for most projects, and at 190 micron it offers a robust balance of strength and economy.

 Like all bioWrap®, this film is landfill-biodegradable. Independent testing under ASTM D5511 has verified 86.2% biodegradation at 906 days in anaerobic landfill conditions, with biodegradation ongoing. It breaks down through microbial consumption — not photodegradation — so it does not fragment into microplastics during use.

 On fire performance, it holds a US Class A rating under ASTM E84 (Flame Spread Index: 20, Smoke Developed: 30) and a European B-s1,d0 classification under EN 13501-1:2018 — the highest classifications available for shrink wrap film.

 Performance in use is equal to or better than standard PE shrink wrap. It welds cleanly, shrinks consistently, and carries full multi-season UV protection. The marked centreline makes installation quicker and film measurement straightforward on site.
