Ordering from outside the UK.
Why can I not just order online?
You can order online for UK delivery. Everywhere else, we price the freight by hand, because the cost depends on the destination, the volume and the route. A pallet of 12m film prices very differently to a box of tape. You get one confirmed price covering the goods and delivery. Import duties and taxes are not included; see the question below.
How quickly will I get the quote?
We reply by email within one to two business days with one price covering the goods and the delivery, so there is nothing further for you to chase.
Which countries do you supply?
Anywhere we can legally ship to. We send film, tape and tools across Europe and well beyond it, and export documentation is routine for us rather than an exception. Tell us where it needs to go and we will price the freight to it.
Is there a minimum order for delivery outside the UK?
There is no minimum order value. Freight is what changes the maths, not our pricing. A part pallet often costs little less to move than a full one, and loose boxes cost more per kilo than palletised goods. If your order sits just short of a full pallet or a full box quantity we will say so on the quote, because topping it up is frequently cheaper per roll than shipping what you first asked for.
Are import duties and taxes included?
No. The price we send covers the goods and delivery to your address on DAP terms (Delivered at Place). Import duties, import VAT and any customs clearance charges in your country are payable by you. We will provide the commercial invoice and export documentation you need to clear the goods.
Can I arrange my own freight and collect?
Yes. A lot of our overseas customers use their own freight forwarder, and we are happy to quote for the goods on a collection basis from our Cheshire warehouse. Tell us on the form that you are arranging collection and give us your forwarder's details if you have them, and we will deal with them directly once the order is placed.
Can I pay on account?
Trade credit accounts are available to UK trade customers only, because we credit check every applicant and cannot do that reliably overseas. Orders for delivery outside the UK are on pro-forma terms: we send the quote, you approve it, and we dispatch once payment has cleared. We hold accounts in sterling, euros, US dollars and Canadian dollars, so you can pay by bank transfer in whichever suits you.
